Aggieland

Both Audrey and I were teenagers the first time we went to College Station.  Christian was more fortunate and made his first visit at 5 months.  This past weekend we took a family trip to Aggieland and made the rounds around his mom and dad's old stomping grounds




Christian made a new friend at the bed and breakfast we stayed at. As soon as Christian saw this cigar indian, he smiled and laughed at him.

Christian is ready to cheer on his Aggies, but he has to wait a while...he is class of '33



He also has to wait a while until he earns his Aggie Ring, but for now he can stand in this one



Even though he may have to wait a while to get it, he has got his eye on the prize!

A trip to Aggieland is not complete without a trip to Northgate. If he is like his dad, this will not be his last time there.




 

A Man About Town

Every week Christian's into something new. He is SO into grabbing anything and everything. He's able to sit up unsupported. He's also into the jumperoo/activity center, but he doesn't really understand the jumping part yet. He just likes to look at, grab for, and most importantly try to put all the items in his mouth! He loves going for stroller rides, and he's also laughing and smiling so much more! We are so proud of him.

Aggie Game Day

While Christian is welcome to go to any school he wants, there's definintely someone who will be steering him in a particular direction. (Hint, that person is in the picture below.) Christian is ready for the start of football season today. He's wearing his maroon and white and doesn't he look handsome. This is the first outfit I bought for him. I guess I knew my little one would be big. It's a size 9 months, and it fits him perfect. Gig 'em Aggies!

Christian is four and half months old and even though he can laugh and make noises, we still don't really know what he is thinking. So here is my (Javier) attempt to caption Christian's thoughts. Feel free to add your captions also.

It's Hot Outside!

This is a Texas, and if you have ever spent a summer here, you know that a summer in Texas means 100+ degree weather. Making this summer hotter, it has barely rained all summer. So to cool off, we took Christian to a pool for the first time.

While he did not go underwater, he enjoyed being in the water with his daddy.

Even though the sun began to beat down, Christian played it cool and broke out his shades.
