Happy Birthday to Christian!

Our little baby is 1 year old today! This year has been amazing, full of smiles for Christian! Here is one proud papa a year ago today!

Admiring my little boy.

And here he is today. So much has changed in one year. Christian went from a helpless baby, to an independent, smiling, walking, talking, toddler. What's next year going to bring?

Future model?

Walking?

Sort of! Not exactly on his own, but in the last couple of days he's starting to high tail it on his own behind his Alphabet Train. He'll be walking on his own before we know it.

10 Months Old

Christian's about to be 10 months tomorrow! This was him pre-haircut, the day he turned 9 months. At his 9 month check-up he was 23 lbs, 6 ozs, which is in the 85% for his age. His height was 27.25", which is in the 14%, and his head was in the 89%! It seems we have a bit of a disproportioned baby, but I think he's gorgeous!!

He's a happy, fun, little guy, who's always busy, busy, busy. He LOVES to climb up anything. We've taken him to the playground a few times, and he wants to climb up the slide.

He would love to be busy getting into the cat fountain. He knows he's not supposed to, but, man, is it tempting!

Here's Dad, keeping him busy in his swing! He loves his swing, and he LOVES peek a boo. Getting both at once is just too much!

Muy Guapo

Ok, so we have been waaaay behind on blogging! I know the masses are waiting (ok, maybe just Russell), so here we go. Christian is turning into a little boy right before our eyes. My little baby got his first haircut. Here are some pre-haircut photos. He wasn't overly shaggy, but we had lots of hair hanging over the ears and a bit of a comb over in the back.

We took him to a kid's haircut place, so he got to sit in Lighting McQueen. We had to bribe him with snacks, so he would sit still. I think that's one of his Mum Mums he's chewing on.

I thought he'd give the stylist a harder time. He actually did pretty well. He would try to bat her hand away, and he cried when she tried the clippers, but all in all, he did a great job.

TA DA! At this point, he was loosing his focus, so we had a hard time getting a good photo!

Muy Guapo!
